The space Gallery Intro station will be built with the cooperation and financial and technological help of Russia (RSA), European Space Agency (ESA), Canadian Space Agency (CSA), and the Japanese National Space Development Agency (NASDA). The International Space Station is the first true international space effort on a large scale. The European partners involved with the Space station include Belgium, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and Germany. Japan is building the Japanese Experimental Module (JEM) that consists of three parts, including a pressurized laboratory, an open-space laboratory, and a storage module. The European Space Agency is creating a very large module called the Columbus that will be large enough to serve as a self-supporting platform or part of the proposed European space station.
